Step 1:
Register
Registration is free and
only takes a couple minutes. You will get access to bid in Online Auctions and Private
Sales, equipment update emails, and personalized
services.
Every bidder registers online through
www.Networkintl.com. International bidders must fill
out a registration form that is available via customer support at
support@Networkintl.com
and return it by e-mail or fax to (011) 850-0505.
Network has the right to request credit approval prior to final approval
for all International Buyers.
Step 2: View the Auction Calendar
Our auction calendar
will tell you when we are having an auction, what is being auctioned, and where
it will be located (so that you may inspect the lot if you choose). You can also
get a full list of equipment as well as other important information about the auction.
Step 3:
Login to bid
Online Auction lots typically
open seven days before the closing day(s) of the Online Auction. Login with the
bidder ID and password (you get this information when you register) to bid.
Step 4: Prior to Bidding
Preview Equipment
In Online Auctions, lots are available
to preview on the website one to two weeks before the sale. Complete descriptions
and pictures are provided, and yard contact information is available if you wish
to inspect the equipment prior to the sale.
Step 5: During Bidding
Intelligent bidding
You can set your highest bid (called
a Proxy bid) and the Online Auction
system will bid on your behalf up to that price, so you don't have to watch the
entire Online Auction. If you wish, the system will email you when you’re outbid.
Advanced features
In Online Auctions, use the bid history
feature to see real-time bidding activity and whom you're bidding against, or track
the lots you are interested in with the Watchlist
feature. During the execution of the
Online Auctions, Buyers are able to utilize features such as Proxy Bidding,
Overtime Bidding
and AutoRefresh, which were designed
specifically for this industry to provide the most convenient buyer solution. Throughout each auction, a customer
support group is available to provide personal assistance, walking buyers through
the bid process and answering any additional questions.
Step 6: After Winning the
Lot
Winning bidders will receive an invoice and additional paperwork via fax after the
last lot of the Online Auction closes. The invoice will include detailed instructions
for payment. Some of the paperwork will require buyer's signatures and must be returned
via fax.
Again, detailed instructions
will be included. Once payment and paperwork has been received, the Buyer will receive an Authorization
for Release with instructions
for picking up the purchased material.
Step 7: Payment Options
At the completion of the Online Auction,
Network International will generate an invoice for each buyer including the amount
due. The total is comprised of two components:
-
Winning Bid amount
-
Sales Tax
Sales Tax
To avoid being charged sales tax on
e-Auction items, we must receive a Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate prior
to the sale.
Please fax Tax Exemption Certificates to:

Step 8: After Payment
Once Network International receives
payment for a specific lot, the seller will receive a faxed authorization to release
the equipment and the buyer will receive an authorization to pick up the equipment.
Yard contact information will be provided. The Buyer is responsible for arranging
to pick up and ship the equipment from the seller’s location. Buyers must pick up
equipment within 30 calendar days after the date of the auction.
